WWW Wednesday – 10/25/1

Happy WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam on Taking on a World of Words. Anyone can participate by answering the three questions below and then posting a link to your post from your blog on Sam’s website, or just answer the questions on her post, if you do not have a blog.

The three questions (Ws) are:

1.) What are you currently reading?
2.) What did you recently finish reading?
3.) What do you think you’ll read next?

1. What are you currently reading?

Current Read: The Dead House by Dawn Kurtagich

Progress: I am on page 333/448 (74%).

Thoughts so far: I am really, really liking it! It is mixed media format, so it is journal entries and detective questionings and multiple different other formats. It is creepy, so it is definitely giving me serious Halloween vibes. I like it a lot!

2. What did you recently finish reading?

Recently Finished: In a Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware

Rating: I gave this 3.5/5 stars on Goodreads!

Thoughts: I thought it was a pretty good thriller! I enjoyed it. I did call the ending, and I hate when that happens in books. The mystery was really well thought out and the writing was good!

3. What do you think you’ll read next?

Next Reads: I am traveling home tomorrow, and I have The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater on audio, so my plan is to listen to that on my drive. This will be a reread for me, but I hardly remember everything that happened, and I really want to read the next books in the series, so I want to reread this! Then I also really want to get to Slasher Girls and Monster Boys by April Genevieve Tucholke before the end of October, so that one will be my next physical book!

What are your WWWs today?!

Thanks for reading! (:

A whole post of creepy reads, so it seems, haha!

The format of The Dead House by Dawn Kurtagich sounds interesting!
As for The Raven Boys.. I recently read all the books but I didn’t end up loving it like so many others do? [Please don’t shoot me] A friend of mine convinced me that it gets better when you read it a second time though, so I might do just that next year and maybe fall in love with them after all, haha.

    Happy reading!
