This tag was created by Kat over on Katytastic, and I have linked her original video there. This is a very old tag, like over two years ago, that she created for a book that was released then, butttt I am very behind on tags and I love Disney, so it will just be okay. (:
Question #1: The Little Mermaid – a character who is out of their element, a “fish out of water”.
I chose Feyre from A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. Feyre was taken out of her home and thrown into this faerie realms. Terrifying! So, I choose her because she is totally out of her element in this book.
Question #2: Cinderella – a character who goes through a major transformation.
For this question, I chose Cath from Heartless by Marissa Meyer. I loved this book so much. Cath’s character changed quite a bit from the beginning of this book to the end of this one!
Question #3: Snow White – a book with an eclectic cast of characters.
I chose The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare for this. There are so many different characters and personalities in this series. There was no other option for this. I really want to reread this series, I love it!
Question #4: Sleeping Beauty – a book that put you to sleep.
Ugh. The Call by Peadar O’Guilin no doubt. Horrid, horrid book.
Question #5: The Lion King – a character who had something traumatic happen to them in childhood.
I mean.. Harry Potter, duh. Haha! There’s a ton, I’m sure, but this was the first that came to my mind!
Question #6: Beauty and the Beast – A beast of a book (a big book) that you were intimidated by, but found the story to be beautiful.
I chose A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas for this because this sucker was like 700 pages! I do not read big books. Seriously. But SJM always gets me. This series is absolutely fantastic. If you have not read it, please do!
Question #7: Aladdin – a character who gets their wish granted, for better or worse.
I could not think of a single book for this question. Sorry. I suck. Haha.
Question #8: Mulan – a character who pretends to be someone or something they are not.
I chose Eliza from Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia for this. I’m not sure if it really counts for this, but Eliza is being someone she isn’t in the real world. Online, she is this really awesome web comic creator and in real life, she’s keeping that a secret. So I guess it counts. This is a really awesome book, by the way!
Question #9: Toy Story – a book with characters you wish would come to life.
I neeeeed all of these characters to be real!! Okay maybe not ALL of them, but for the most part. Please.
Question #10: Disney Descendants – your favorite villain or morally ambiguous character.
Easy. I’ve said it before, but my favorite book villain by far is The Darkling form the Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo! I love him so much!
Okay, so that is it for the Disney Book Tag! I hope you guys enjoyed!
Thanks for reading! (:
