Coraline Inspired Skeleton Key Pendant Necklace by OwlCrate

Thoughts: I could build a fort with all of the key necklaces I’ve gotten in subscription boxes. I’m so sick of getting jewelry pieces that I will never wear. Sorry..

Value: Not listed.

Narnia Inspired Candle by Books on Candles (by VIVLYO) (OwlCrate Exclusive!)

Thoughts: This has hints of vanilla, mint, and pine. It smells really fresh. I really like it!

Value: $4.00

Daughter of Smoke and Bone Inspired Zipper Pouch by Risa Rodil (OwlCrate Exclusive!)

Thoughts: Again, I feel that one person only needs so many pencil pouches, so this is again kind of annoying. The only reason I’m not super mad at it is because I really love Risa Rodil’s work.

Value: $12.00

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland Inspired Sticker by Naomi Lord

Thoughts: This is really cute. She has a ton of really cute stickers on her site!

Value: $1.73

Wall Tapestry by Evie Bookish (OwlCrate Exclusive!)

Thoughts: This is hugeeee. For this photo, I had to stand on my furniture while this was laid in my living room floor to get the whole thing in the photo. This picture does not do it justice. The lighting is very off, but this is beautiful! I do not currently have anywhere to hang it, but maybe when I get my first house with a reading nook, I’ll have the perfect place!

The good news for this exclusive item is if you want one, she actually has this same print on her site, just with the colors slightly altered. (:

Value: $30.00

The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert (SIGNED!) (OwlCrate Exclusive Edition)

Summary: Seventeen-year-old Alice Proserpine and her mother have spend most of Alice’s life on the road, always a step ahead of the uncanny bad luck biting at their heels. But when Alice’s grandmother, the reclusive author of a book of pitch-dark fairy tales, dies alone on her estate, the Hazel Wood, Alice learns how bad her luck can really get. Her mother is stolen away – by a figure who claims to come from the cruel supernatural world where her grandmother’s stories are all set. Alice’s only lead is the message her mother left behind:

Alice has long steered clear of her grandmother’s cultish fans. But now she has no choice but to ally with her classmate and fairy-tale superfan Ellery Finch, who may have his own reasons for wanting to help her. To find her mother, Alice must venture first tp the Hazel Wood and then into the world where her grandmother’s tales began – and where she might discover why her own story went so wrong.

Thoughts: This was a book that has been on my highly anticipated book list, and I’m excited to get to it. It does have mixed reviews, but I still am definitely looking forward to reading it!

However, as far as this cover goes, I’m not a fan. The original cover is black, and it is beautiful. The green is ugly.. It may be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t really love the whole “exclusive cover” thing OwlCrate is doing. I wish it would stop..

Value: $16.99

Book Merchandise

I love the stickers!

February Theme Announcement + Sneak Peek

The theme for March is “Across the Galaxy”! This will include items inspired by The Illuminae Files, Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars, and more! The book is described as “an incredibly fun tale inspired by the story of Anastasia, but set in space!” so that is interesting. I’m pretty sure I know what the book is, and I’m looking forward to it!

Sneak Peek

Another candle. Yay. Lol.

Total Value for this box: $64.72! (Not including the necklace.)

This box was not my favorite. So many items are so overused and it gets old. I’d like to see some different stuff included. I mean there is literally almost always a candle or art print. And I also don’t like the “exclusive” cover of this month’s book. But usually, I don’t feel this way about OwlCrate, so hopefully my thoughts will change in the next months.

Anywayyyy, if you are interested, head over to www.owlcrate.com and subscribe!

I hope you enjoyed my #OwlCrate unboxing!

Thanks for reading!
