Most Anticipated Fall 2018 Book Releases

Hey friends! It has been a while since I’ve posted one of these, but they are my favorite posts to compile, so let’s get into some fall releases! I’m a few days late on this, I apologize.

37486213Two Dark Reigns by Kendare Blake (Three Dark Crowns, #3)

Release Date: September 4, 2018

Summary: I don’t want to post the summary due to spoilers for those that have not read this series!

Thoughts: SO. EXCITED. I’ve waited so long for this and I cannot wait to get into it!! Also, that cover!!! heart eyes.

36399096The Dinner List by Rebecca Serle

Release Date: September 11, 2018

Summary: (from Goodreads)

We’ve been waiting for an hour. That’s what Audrey says. She states it with a little bit of an edge, her words just bordering on cursive. That’s the thing I think first. Not: Audrey Hepburn is at my birthday dinner, but Audrey Hepburn is annoyed.

At one point or another, we’ve all been asked to name five people, living or dead, with whom we’d like to have dinner. Why do we choose the people we do? And what if that dinner was to actually happen? These are the questions Rebecca Serle contends within her utterly captivating novel, The Dinner List, a story imbued with the same delightful magical realism as One Day, and the life-changing romance of Me Before You.

When Sabrina arrives at her thirtieth birthday dinner she finds at the table not just her best friend, but also three significant people from her past, and well, Audrey Hepburn. As the appetizers are served, wine poured, and dinner table conversation begins, it becomes clear that there’s a reason these six people have been gathered together.

Delicious but never indulgent, sweet with just the right amount of bitter, The Dinner List is a romance for our times. Bon appetit.

Thoughts: This sounds like so much fun. I haven’t ever read anything by Rebecca Serle, but this sounded too fun to pass up! I’m excited for it!

29386918Wildcard by Marie Lu (Warcross, #2)

Release Date: September 18, 2018

Summary: Again, I don’t want to post a summary due to spoilers for those that have not read the first book.

Thoughts: I am pumped for this book! Warcross was one of my favorite reads of last year, so I’m really excited to see how the series continues and ends because I think this is only a duology!

I didn’t want this post to be forever long, so I picked my top 3 favorite releases for each month, and if there are more, I will just list them and link the Goodreads page to them if you’re interested in checking them out. (:

36260157What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera

Release Date: October 9, 2018

Summary: (from Goodreads)

Arthur is only in New York for the summer, but if Broadway has taught him anything, it’s that the universe can deliver a showstopping romance when you least expect it.

Ben thinks the universe needs to mind its business. If the universe had his back, he wouldn’t be on his way to the post office carrying a box of his ex-boyfriend’s things.

But when Arthur and Ben meet-cute at the post office, what exactly does the universe have in store for them?

Maybe nothing. After all, they get separated.

Maybe everything. After all, they get reunited.

But what if they can’t quite nail a first date . . . or a second first date . . . or a third?

What if Arthur tries too hard to make it work . . . and Ben doesn’t try hard enough?

What if life really isn’t like a Broadway play?

But what if it is?

Thoughts: I really, really love both Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera so this collaboration has got me super excited! I’ve definitely got high hopes for this one!

39280445Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty

Release Date: November 6, 2018

Summary: (from Goodreads)

Could ten days at a health resort really change you forever? In Liane Moriarty’s latest page-turner, nine perfect strangers are about to find out…

Nine people gather at a remote health resort. Some are here to lose weight, some are here to get a reboot on life, some are here for reasons they can’t even admit to themselves. Amidst all of the luxury and pampering, the mindfulness and meditation, they know these ten days might involve some real work. But none of them could imagine just how challenging the next ten days are going to be.

Frances Welty, the formerly best-selling romantic novelist, arrives at Tranquillum House nursing a bad back, a broken heart, and an exquisitely painful paper cut. She’s immediately intrigued by her fellow guests. Most of them don’t look to be in need of a health resort at all. But the person that intrigues her most is the strange and charismatic owner/director of Tranquillum House. Could this person really have the answers Frances didn’t even know she was seeking? Should Frances put aside her doubts and immerse herself in everything Tranquillum House has to offer – or should she run while she still can?

It’s not long before every guest at Tranquillum House is asking exactly the same question.

Thoughts: I really love Liane Moriarty’s work, so I’m really excited for another book from her! Still need to read all of her stuff though, haha!

39337278Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald – The Original Screenplay by J. K. Rowling

Summary: Again, no summary for those that are actually insane and hasn’t seen Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them yet! (:

Thoughts: I AM SO EXCITEDDDDDD for this movie and screenplay yaaaasssss!!! (yep, there’s my thoughts. hahaha)

Okay, there are all the releases for the next few months that I am excited about!!

I love your list, well thought out, great variety! Good job 🙂 I have Dinner List on my TBR list, thanks! I have to mention one that you may not have heard of yet, but should absolutely check out. I loved it. The Selah Branch by Ted Neill. If anything, read about the author first. He is amazing, he’s the kind of human actually doing good in the world and truly making a difference. I found more here,
